Nigerian stars make 2026 NBA draft combine list

Nigerian basketball talents continue to gain global recognition as Rueben Chinyelu, Ebuka Okorie, Felix Okpara, Ugonne Onyenso, Tobi Lawal, and Zuby Ejiofor have all been invited to the 2026 NBA Draft Combine.

The six players are among the 73 prospects selected to participate in the prestigious pre-draft event, which provides NBA teams with the opportunity to assess top talents ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft.

The NBA Draft Combine is expected to feature physical measurements, athletic testing, shooting drills, interviews, and scrimmages involving some of the best college and international prospects.

Rueben Chinyelu, who has continued to impress with his defensive presence and rebounding ability, headlines the Nigerian contingent alongside Felix Okpara and Ugonne Onyenso, both known for their shot-blocking and interior dominance.

Ebuka Okorie, Tobi Lawal, and Zuby Ejiofor have also enjoyed impressive performances at college level, earning recognition from scouts and NBA executives.

Their inclusion further highlights the growing impact of Nigerian players in global basketball and strengthens the country’s representation on the international stage.
