Nigerian basketball coach Rena Wakama has been inducted into the Wake Forest High School Hall of Fame as her alma mater honoured her for her outstanding achievements and lasting impact in basketball.
The recognition is another major milestone in Wakama’s growing career in the sport, following her impressive rise as one of Nigeria’s most respected basketball coaches.
The induction ceremony was held as part of the school’s Class of 2026 Hall of Fame banquet, where Wakama was celebrated for her contributions both on and off the court.
