Nigeria’s U18 men’s and women’s basketball teams, the Junior D’Tigers and Junior D’Tigress, have arrived in Côte d’Ivoire ahead of the 2026 FIBA U18 AfroBasket Championship.

The two teams touched down in the West African nation on Monday as they intensify preparations for the continental tournament, which will bring together Africa’s best young basketball talents.

Their arrival marks the beginning of Nigeria’s quest for success in both the men’s and women’s competitions, with the players eager to make their mark on the continental stage.
