Super Eagles forward Olusegun Olakunle has completed a move to Russian Premier League club FC Rostov ahead of the new season.
The Nigerian attacker joins Rostov after an impressive campaign with fellow Russian side Krasnodar, where he established himself as one of the club’s standout performers with a series of impressive displays.
The former Golden Eaglets striker will now be looking to continue his development and make an immediate impact at Rostov as they prepare for the upcoming Russian Premier League season.
Olakunle has also earned recognition at international level, featuring for the Super Eagles during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
He was also part of Nigeria’s squad for recent international friendly matches, further underlining his growing importance to the national team.
