Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Senegal will host the 2026 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), following approval by the CAF Executive Committee.

This decision reaffirms CAF’s confidence in Senegal’s ability to organize world-class events and recognizes the country’s contribution to the growth and development of Beach Soccer on the African continent.

Senegal holds the record with five CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) titles, having won the last five consecutive editions, including the 2024 edition in Egypt.

The tournament will once again bring together eight (8) of the main African Beach Soccer nations, and one of the main challenges for the participating teams will be to qualify for the next FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in 2027.

Senegal hosted the 2021 edition of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Beach Soccer.
