Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, will depart the country on Wednesday for Côte d’Ivoire ahead of their second-round qualifier for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian side is scheduled to face Guinea in the first leg on Saturday, May 23, in Côte d’Ivoire, as they begin their quest for a place at the global tournament.
The return leg will be held a week later, with Nigeria hosting the Guinean side on Saturday, May 30.
The Flamingos will be aiming to secure a positive result away from home to boost their chances of progressing to the next round of the qualification series.
