Super Falcons defender Tosin Demehin has joined Portuguese women’s side Benfica Feminine on a contract that will keep her at the club until 2029.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international completed the move after announcing her departure from Turkish club Galatasaray on Monday.
Benfica officially confirmed the signing, describing Demehin as a reinforcement for the team.
“Demehin, Nigerian international central defender aged 24, is a reinforcement for SL Benfica until 2029,” the Portuguese club announced.
Demehin spent the past two seasons with Galatasaray, making 42 league appearances and scoring two goals during her time in Turkey.
The move to Benfica marks a new chapter in the Super Falcons defender’s career as she continues her development at one of Portugal’s leading women’s clubs.
