The Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) has officially announced the host cities for its forthcoming continental competitions.
Gaborone, Botswana, will stage the African Senior Championships in 2028, while Port Louis, Mauritius, has been selected for the 2030 edition.
In addition, Algeria will host the 2027 African U18 & U20 Championships, underscoring the country’s growing role in nurturing young athletics talent on the continent.
The decisions were confirmed by the CAA Council, highlighting the organization’s commitment to rotating major events across Africa and promoting the sport regionally.
