Nigeria international duo, Moses Simon and Chidozie Awaziem, were omitted from the French Ligue 1 Team of the Season released by the league organisers.
Simon, who joined Paris FC from FC Nantes last season, enjoyed an impressive campaign and played a key role for the club throughout the season.
Awaziem, meanwhile, endured a difficult campaign with Nantes as the defender was unable to help the club avoid the relegation playoffs at the end of the season.
As expected, players from Paris Saint-Germain dominated the Team of the Season list following the club’s strong performances domestically.
The likes of Moussa Dembele and Nuno Mendes were among the standout names included in the selection.
