The fixtures for the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been confirmed following the conclusion of an entertaining group stage.

The expanded tournament, which features 48 teams and 104 matches for the first time in World Cup history, has produced thrilling contests, unexpected results and impressive performances from several nations.

Co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, the competition began on June 11, with the knockout phase now set to commence after the completion of the group stage.

Several high-profile clashes are expected in the Round of 32, including Brazil against Japan, the Netherlands versus Morocco, Portugal taking on Croatia, Belgium facing Senegal and France meeting Sweden.

According to a statement released on FIFA’s official website on Sunday, nine of the 10 African representatives successfully progressed to the Round of 32, underlining the continent’s impressive performance at the tournament.
