Samuel Kalu signs new Botev Plovdiv contract until 2029

Nigerian winger Samuel Kalu has committed his future to Botev Plovdiv after signing a new contract extension that will keep him at the Bulgarian club until 2029.

The 28-year-old, who has represented Nigeria’s Super Eagles at senior international level, extended his stay following his contributions to the team since joining the club.

The new deal reflects Botev Plovdiv’s confidence in the experienced winger as they continue preparations for the new season and aim to strengthen their squad for domestic and continental competitions.

Kalu, known for his pace, dribbling ability and attacking versatility, is expected to play a key role for Botev Plovdiv over the coming years after putting pen to paper on the long-term extension.

The contract secures the Nigerian international’s future at the club until the end of the 2028/29 season.
