Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) champions Edo Queens have booked their place in the final of the WAFU-B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament.

Edo Queens secured a convincing 5-1 victory over Burkina Faso’s USFA FC in Ouagadougou to advance to the decisive stage of the competition.

The Nigerian champions produced a dominant display, comfortably overcoming their Burkinabè opponents and maintaining their push for a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The emphatic victory further underlines Edo Queens’ status as the reigning NWFL champions and one of the leading women’s clubs in the region.

They will now turn their attention to the WAFU-B qualifying final, where they will battle for the regional ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
