Edo Queens have been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership, securing their second league title in three seasons.
The Benin-based club sealed the championship after an impressive campaign, reaffirming their status as one of the dominant forces in Nigerian women’s football.
The triumph also earned Edo Queens the right to represent Nigeria at the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifiers, where they will compete for a place in the continental championship.
The latest success adds another milestone to the club’s growing achievements in the women’s game as they set their sights on making an impact on the regional stage.
