CAF executive committee to meet next week over FIFA forward enterprise proposal

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that its Executive Committee will meet next week to assess and evaluate FIFA’s proposed FIFA Forward Enterprise initiative.

According to a statement released by CAF, the continental football governing body received official correspondence from FIFA regarding the proposal as part of an ongoing consultation process involving FIFA Member Associations and the FIFA Council.

CAF President will chair the Executive Committee meeting, where members will review the initiative and discuss its potential impact on African football.

CAF also urged its 54 Member Associations to study the FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal and actively participate in the consultation process in line with CAF and FIFA regulations and established procedures.

The governing body reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with its Member Associations, FIFA, other continental confederations, and key stakeholders to increase financial support and other resources aimed at promoting the development and growth of football across Africa and globally.
