Nigeria’s tennis calendar will come alive next month as two major national tournaments are scheduled to take place at the Package B courts of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
The competitions are the CBN National Tennis Championships, billed for June 12 to June 20, and the DavNotch National Open, which will run from June 20 to June 27.
The tournaments are expected to attract some of the country’s top-ranked players as well as emerging talents seeking to improve their national standing and gain competitive experience.
The events will also provide a platform for scouts, coaches and tennis stakeholders to assess players ahead of future regional and international competitions.
The back-to-back championships are part of ongoing efforts to promote and develop tennis across Nigeria through increased domestic competition and player exposure.
