Nigeria’s Flying Eagles secured a place in the semi-finals of the WAFU B U20 Championship after a commanding 3-0 victory over Togo.
After a goalless first half, the Flying Eagles took the lead just a minute into the second half when Muiz Adeleke found the back of the net in the 46th minute.
Adeleke doubled Nigeria’s advantage in the 57th minute, completing his brace and putting the Flying Eagles firmly in control of the contest.
Abdoulaye Agbejoye sealed the convincing win with Nigeria’s third goal in the 85th minute, capping an impressive team performance.
The victory extends Nigeria’s strong run in the tournament and confirms the Flying Eagles’ qualification for the semi-finals, where they will continue their quest for the WAFU B U20 title.
