Nigeria’s U18 D’Tigers delivered another dominant performance at the U18 Afrobasket Qualifiers, defeating hosts Burkina Faso 98-54 in a one-sided contest.
The young Nigerians controlled the game from the opening tip-off, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive discipline to secure a convincing 44-point victory on the road.
Victor Nwafor and Joshua Ogbonna led the scoring for Nigeria with 18 points each, while Thomas Agbo Okoh contributed 16 points in another impressive display.
Victor Endurance Sunday also played a key role, finishing with 17 points and narrowly missing out on a double-double after grabbing nine rebounds.
It was a complete team performance from the D’Tigers, who dominated both ends of the court from start to finish to strengthen their campaign in the U18 Afrobasket Qualifiers.
