English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion have reached an agreement to sign highly-rated Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna from Swedish side AIK Stockholm on a five-year contract.

The deal, which runs until June 2031, was confirmed by Brighton, although the financial details of the transfer were not disclosed.

Yohanna is expected to officially complete the move when the transfer window reopens, subject to the usual regulatory approvals.

The 18-year-old winger, who will celebrate his 19th birthday later this month, joins the Seagulls after emerging as one of the most exciting young talents in European football.

The Nigerian youngster has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in Sweden’s top flight, where his impressive performances for AIK Stockholm attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.

Brighton will hope Yohanna’s arrival further strengthens their reputation for identifying and developing some of the game’s brightest young prospects as they continue to build for the future.
