Team Nigeria has departed for the Botswana World Relays in Gaborone, where a 24-athlete squad is set to compete across all six relay events this weekend.
The contingent will be aiming to deliver strong performances on the global stage, with a primary focus on securing qualification tickets for the Beijing 2027 World Championships.
In addition to the world championship targets, the Nigerian team will also be chasing qualification spots for the Ultimate Athletics Championships, adding further significance to their participation in Botswana.
