Nigeria’s Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has been crowned the Player of the Month in the Saudi Women’s Premier League after a brilliant start to life with Al Hilal Feminine.

The six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year joined the Saudi Arabian giants this summer following her exit from the United States club Bay FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Oshoala wasted no time in making her mark, delivering a series of outstanding performances in September. She scored three goals and provided two assists, playing a pivotal role in Al Hilal’s unbeaten run during the period.

Her performances did not only inspire victories for the Riyadh-based side but also showcased her trademark pace, strength, and clinical finishing that have made her one of the most feared forwards in women’s football globally.

By clinching the award, Oshoala continues to underline her status as a world-class talent and further strengthens her reputation as one of Africa’s most decorated female footballers.

The recognition is expected to boost her confidence as she prepares to lead Al Hilal through the rest of the campaign, while also keeping one eye on national team duties with Nigeria’s Super Falcons ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
