Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, will take on Portugal national football team in an international friendly scheduled for June 10.
The encounter will be held at the Dr. Magalhães Pessoa Stadium in Leiria, with kick-off fixed for 20:45 local time.
The fixture is expected to serve as Portugal national football team’s final preparation match ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they will compete among the qualified nations.
In contrast, the Nigeria national football team will not be part of the Mundial after failing to secure qualification, making the friendly an opportunity to test the squad against top European opposition.
