President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, Secretary General Yusuf Sanusi and members of the NFF Executive Committee have reportedly resigned from their respective positions.
The reported development comes amid growing concerns over the performance and administration of Nigeria’s national teams under the current leadership.
The situation has been further compounded by the Super Falcons’ disappointing campaign at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where Nigeria failed to secure qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup after losing to South Africa in the playoff.
The reported resignations are expected to trigger significant changes within the country’s football administration, although an official confirmation from the NFF is still awaited.
