Senegal have announced a formidable squad ahead of their international friendly matches against Nigeria’s Super Falcons, scheduled for this week and next week.
The Teranga Lionesses released a strong list of players as they intensify preparations for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) reached an agreement with their Senegalese counterparts to stage the double-header friendly, aimed at sharpening both sides before the continental showpiece.
Both fixtures are slated to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, with matches scheduled for June 5 and June 8.
The encounters are expected to provide a stern test for the Super Falcons as they continue their build-up toward the WAFCON tournament, while Senegal will also be keen to assess their squad strength against one of Africa’s most successful women’s teams.
