Former Super Falcons defender Onome Ebi has successfully completed the inaugural FIFA Players Executive Programme, marking another milestone in her post-playing career.
The former Nigeria international was among the first cohort of players to graduate from the maiden edition of the FIFA initiative, which is designed to equip current and former footballers with leadership, governance, and executive management skills for roles within the game after retirement.
Ebi, one of Africa’s most decorated female footballers, has continued to play an influential role in the development of women’s football and now adds the FIFA executive qualification to her growing list of achievements.
Her participation in the programme reflects her commitment to contributing to football beyond the pitch, with the knowledge gained expected to prepare her for future leadership and administrative responsibilities within the sport.
The completion of the FIFA Players Executive Programme further enhances Ebi’s profile as she transitions from an illustrious playing career into football management and governance.
