Nigerian sprint sensation Favour Ofili delivered an impressive performance in her second women’s 200m race of the season, clocking a Season’s Best time of 22.15 seconds to finish third at the Lone Star Grand Prix.

Ofili continued her encouraging start to the campaign with a strong showing against a quality field, improving on her previous outing to secure a podium finish.

Olympic champion Gabby Thomas dominated the race, posting a world-leading time of 21.70 seconds to claim first place. American sprinter Kayla White finished second after crossing the line in 22.07 seconds.

Ofili’s latest performance highlights her steady progression this season as she builds momentum ahead of major international competitions.

The 22.15-second effort will also boost her confidence as she aims to challenge the world’s elite in the women’s sprint events.
