Nigeria’s D’Tigress ended their three-game exhibition series against China on a winning note after defeating the hosts 88-77 in Foshan on Wednesday.
The Nigerian women’s basketball team produced an improved performance to secure the 11-point victory in the third and final game of the series.
The result marked D’Tigress’ first win of the tour after China claimed victory in the opening two games.
With the exhibition series now concluded, D’Tigress will travel to Spain, where they are scheduled to play more preparatory games as part of their build-up to the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, Germany.
The tournament is scheduled to take place later this month, with Nigeria set to continue preparations for the global competition.
