Nigeria international forward Victor Boniface has made a return to Werder Bremen following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Boniface had been out of action for the past three months after suffering a knee injury, which ruled him out of competitive matches during that period.
The striker has now completed his recovery and is back at the club, although he is expected to undergo individual training sessions as part of his reintegration process.
According to reports from the club, Boniface will continue to train separately to regain full fitness before rejoining his teammates in full training.
His return is expected to boost Werder Bremen’s attacking options as they look ahead to the remainder of the season.
