A senior official of the Ghana national football team has confirmed that the team’s camp in Austria was recently targeted by thieves, resulting in the loss of valuable items.
According to the official, who spoke to Sporty FM, the incident occurred at the team’s base in Austria, where the squad is currently preparing for an international friendly match.
Items reportedly stolen include $2,250 in cash and two Rolex wristwatches, raising concerns over the security arrangements surrounding the team’s stay.
