Team Nigeria’s mixed 4x400m relay quartet delivered a strong performance to secure qualification for the 2027 World Championships in Beijing.
The Nigerian team made up of Samson Nathaniel, Taiwo Kudoro, Chidi Okezie and Patience Okon-George produced a Season’s Best time of 3:12.88 to finish second in the event.
The quartet showed determination and composure throughout the race, battling strongly against a competitive field to secure one of the qualification spots.
Their impressive outing confirmed Nigeria’s place in the mixed 4x400m relay event at the 2027 World Championships scheduled to hold in Beijing, China.
The result also highlights the growing strength of Nigeria’s relay teams on the international stage as the country continues preparations for future global competitions.
