Nigeria’s sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan delivered a strong performance at the Shanghai Diamond League, clocking a season’s best time of 12.41 seconds to finish third in the women’s 100m hurdles.
The race was won by the United States’ Masai Russell, who set a new meet record and world-leading time of 12.25 seconds in a commanding display.
Second place went to the Bahamas’ Devynne Charlton, who posted a national record of 12.38 seconds to secure the runner-up position.
Amusan’s improved time signals steady progress as she builds momentum ahead of upcoming major competitions, reaffirming her status among the world’s elite in the event.
