Nigerian international and D’Tigress star Lauren Ebo has signed with Spanish club Joventut Badalona, committing to the team until June 2026.
Born in the United States but of Nigerian descent, Ebo was part of the Nigerian women’s basketball team at the recent Olympic Games in Paris. Known for her strength, size, and intelligence on the court, the 1.93m center brings a strong presence to the paint, excelling in rebounding and shot-blocking.
Ebo developed her skills in the U.S. collegiate system, representing Texas, Notre Dame, and Penn State—establishing herself as a dominant force on both ends of the floor.
She most recently played for KS Basket in the Polish league, where she averaged 15.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and a performance rating of 19, showcasing her all-around impact.
Now set for a new chapter in Spain, Ebo is expected to play a key role for Joventut Badalona in the upcoming season.
