Nigerian midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has mutually terminated his contract with English League One side Barnsley FC, becoming a free agent.
The 28-year-old midfielder is now available to negotiate with clubs as he considers the next step in his career.
Nwakali, a former Golden Eaglets star, has built an international career across Europe, having previously featured in the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal.
The Nigerian midfielder will now be looking for a new club after ending his spell with Barnsley by mutual agreement.
