Newly promoted Italian Serie A club Frosinone have completed the signing of Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma from German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.
The Italian club confirmed the transfer in an official statement, announcing that the experienced centre-back has signed a three-year contract.
“Frosinone Calcio announces that it has secured the sporting performances of Kevin Akpoguma. The defender, born in 1995, will wear the yellow and blue jersey until June 30, 2028,” the club said.
Akpoguma joins Frosinone after several seasons with Hoffenheim, where he established himself as a dependable defender in the Bundesliga. His arrival is expected to strengthen Frosinone’s backline as the club prepares for life in the Serie A following promotion.
The 31-year-old Nigeria international brings top-flight experience in Germany and will be aiming to help Frosinone retain their Serie A status in the upcoming campaign.
