Nigeria’s Kanyinsola Ajayi delivered an impressive performance to claim the bronze medal in the men’s 100m final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Ajayi clocked 9.90 seconds with a legal wind reading of +1.3m/s to finish third in a fiercely contested race, securing another athletics medal for Team Nigeria.
Cameroon’s Emmanuel Eseme stormed to victory in 9.83 seconds, setting a new Commonwealth Games record, while Australia’s Lachlan Kennedy claimed the silver medal after finishing in 9.85 seconds.
