Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo has parted ways with Southampton following the expiration of his contract, bringing an end to his four-year stay at St Mary’s Stadium.
Southampton confirmed the departure of the Nigerian international, who joined the club from Rangers in 2022.
During his time with the Saints, Aribo experienced a mixed spell, featuring in both the Premier League and the Championship.
The 29-year-old midfielder struggled to secure a consistent starting role throughout his stint with the South Coast club but remained a valuable squad member with his versatility and experience.
With his Southampton chapter now closed, Aribo will be seeking a new challenge as he looks to secure regular playing time and revive his career ahead of future international assignments with Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The former Rangers star is expected to attract interest from clubs across Europe and beyond as he enters the free agent market.
