Former Chippa United goalkeeper and Super Eagles shot-stopper Stanley Nwabali has reportedly missed out on a move to Tanzanian giants Simba SC following disagreements over financial terms.
Simba SC were said to be interested in securing the services of the Nigerian international during the January transfer window as they looked to strengthen their squad with an experienced goalkeeper.
However, the proposed transfer eventually collapsed after both parties failed to reach an agreement on financial details, with reports indicating that the player’s camp demanded terms beyond the club’s budget.
Nwabali has remained without a club since his unexpected departure from Chippa United in February.
The goalkeeper rose to prominence after his impressive performances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he played a key role in the Super Eagles’ run to the final.
