Rovers FC were on Tuesday morning involved in a serious road accident in Delta State while traveling to Lagos for their scheduled league fixture against Sporting Lagos.
According to eyewitness accounts, the team bus conveying the players lost control and somersaulted three times before eventually coming to a halt on its side.
Several players were reported to have sustained injuries in the crash, with some said to be in serious condition.
