The 24-year-old Super Eagles attacker delivered a match-winning performance, scoring both goals to dismantle the Zimbabwean defence and book Nigeria’s place in the tournament decider.
Azeez opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a clinical finish, setting the tone for an impressive display.
His pace, dribbling, and direct running constantly troubled the Southern Africans throughout the contest.
The dynamic winger capped a dominant individual showing by completing his brace in the second half, putting the game beyond Zimbabwe’s reach.
Nigeria controlled proceedings for large spells and comfortably held on to their lead, securing a straightforward passage to the Unity Cup final.
