Nigerian central defender Benjamin Tanimu has completed a return to Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars after signing a two-year contract with the club.

The 23-year-old defender rejoins the Tanzanian outfit after previously leaving the club in 2024. He has now committed his future to Singida Black Stars with a deal that will keep him at the club until 2028.

Tanimu returns with valuable experience, having previously featured for Nigeria Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance before moving abroad. He also had a stint with English club Crawley Town.

The Super Eagles defender is expected to strengthen Singida Black Stars’ backline as the club prepares for the new season, with hopes that his experience and leadership qualities will play a key role in their campaign.
