Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has spoken candidly about his strong bond with Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray, describing his experience at the club as deeply personal and fulfilling.
The Nigerian international, who completed a permanent move to the Istanbul-based side last summer, has quickly established himself as a key figure and fan favorite, further strengthening his connection with the club.
Reflecting on his time with Galatasaray, Osimhen highlighted the warmth and support he received upon arrival, particularly during a challenging period in his career.
“When you join Galatasaray, the way they treat players is completely different — they show real love,” Osimhen said.
“It felt like we were meant to cross paths, especially because they came for me when I was going through a tough time.”
The former Napoli striker also revealed how the club has impacted his family life, noting that his daughter has embraced the Galatasaray culture wholeheartedly.
“My daughter even loves Galatasaray more than I do. Anytime I get back from training, she’s already doing the chants,” he added.
Osimhen further praised the club’s hospitality towards his loved ones, emphasizing that the treatment extended beyond just him as a player.
“The way they treat my family and friends is special. I truly love this club,” he concluded.
Since his arrival, Osimhen’s performances and connection with supporters have reinforced his status as one of the most influential players in the squad, with his comments likely to further endear him to the Galatasaray faithful.
