Nigeria international Abdullahi Bewene has expressed pride and excitement after making his debut for the Super Eagles in their international friendly against Poland in Warsaw.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria national football team faced Poland national football team in the Wednesday encounter held in Warsaw, with Bewene among the debutants handed an opportunity to represent the country at senior level.
Speaking after being involved in the match, the youngster described the moment as a dream come true, while stressing his commitment to give everything for the national team.
“I’m very happy and proud to represent my country, I’m ready to give more of this,” Bewene said.
“When I’m on the pitch, I’m ready to give my all. So, I just forget everything.
“There are plenty people in my country, I have to make them happy. I have to make myself happy.”
Bewene’s performance and attitude will be closely watched as the Super Eagles continue to integrate new players into the squad ahead of future international assignments.
