Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has boosted the morale of Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, with a cash donation of ₦2 million ahead of the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Championship.
Musa made the donation while encouraging the players to remain focused and committed as they prepare for the regional tournament, which will be held in Côte d’Ivoire from July 26 to August 9.
The veteran forward urged the Flying Eagles to give their best and represent Nigeria with pride, stressing the importance of discipline, hard work, and determination throughout the competition.
The WAFU B U-20 Championship will serve as the qualifying tournament for the region’s representatives at the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, with the top-performing teams earning places at the continental championship.
The Flying Eagles are expected to intensify preparations in the coming weeks as they aim to secure qualification for the continental tournament.
