Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Nathan Tella has fully recovered from injury and rejoined training with Bayer Leverkusen.
Tella picked up a hip injury during Leverkusen’s goalless draw against Bayern Munich two weeks ago, after playing 85 minutes of the intense clash. The injury sidelined him from their 2-0 win over Holstein Kiel in the DFB-Pokal last week.
According to BILD, Tella resumed training with the team on Tuesday but did not complete the full session, opting for individual drills instead.
It remains uncertain whether he will be fit enough for Leverkusen’s upcoming Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening.
