The interim coach of the Super Eagles Aust,in Eguavoen has ,warned the Mediterranean Knights of Libya ahead of the Friday’s clash.

The three-time African champions will face Libya 2 times in 5 days in the match day 3 and 4 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

Eguavoen refused to admit that the North African country is struggling and instead focus on winning the games.

“They are down now doesn’t mean they can’t rise. They have couple of games to play,” Eguavoen said.

“They will come here and fight but we will try and forget about the past games. Our focus is the game in front of us and the boys are ready.

“We will give Libya a tough fight for those three points. Every second counts and we know what it means to get the job done quickly.

“With the boys that we have and the spirit and nobody is injured, they will deliver”, he said.
