Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly preparing to open negotiations with Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze over a new long-term contract.

Chukwueze, 27, currently has a contract with the Rossoneri that runs until June 2028, but Milan are considering extending his stay at the club until 2031.

According to Italian transfer expert Nicolò Schira, the Serie A giants are keen to secure the Nigerian winger’s future as he continues to make an impact at the start of the new campaign.

Chukwueze has enjoyed an impressive beginning to the 2026/27 Serie A season, registering two assists in three appearances for Milan.

His early-season contributions could strengthen his position as the club prepares to discuss improved and extended terms with the former Villarreal winger.

The proposed extension would keep Chukwueze at San Siro until 2031, potentially making him a long-term part of Milan’s plans.
