Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face Russia in an international friendly on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in Russia.
The encounter will be the second meeting between both countries in 16 months, with the fixture confirmed by Nigeria’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon of Eurodatasports.
The Super Eagles and Russia previously met in an international friendly at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium on June 6, 2025, with both sides playing out a 1-1 draw.
The upcoming fixture will provide Nigeria with another opportunity to test their squad against European opposition as preparations continue for future international engagements.
