Nigeria’s sprinter Kayinsola Ajayi produced an impressive performance at the GalAthletics Bellinzona in Switzerland, winning the men’s 100 metres in 9.91 seconds.
Ajayi clocked 9.91s with a legal wind reading of +0.2m/s to secure victory in a highly competitive field.
American Ronnie Baker finished second in 9.94s, while South African sprint star Akani Simbine took third place in 9.95s.
The victory adds another notable result to Ajayi’s impressive season as the Nigerian continues to establish himself among the leading sprinters on the international circuit
