Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is set to spend at least three weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a thigh injury.
The Lazio midfielder suffered a first- or second-degree tear in his right thigh during Lazio’s 1-0 Serie A victory over Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara on Monday.
Dele-Bashiru, was forced to leave the pitch in the 54th minute and was replaced by Davide Frattesi, who scored the decisive goal just five minutes later.
According to Italian publications Il Messaggero and La Lazio Siamo Noi, medical examinations have confirmed the extent of the injury, with the Nigerian international expected to miss several weeks of action.
