UEFA has confirmed the host venues for the three major European club competition finals in 2027, with Madrid, Frankfurt and Istanbul set to stage the continent’s biggest showpiece matches.

The UEFA Champions League final will be played at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on June 5, 2027. Atlético Madrid’s home ground, which has a capacity of approximately 70,000, will host the competition’s showpiece for the second time after staging the 2019 final, when Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur.

The UEFA Europa League final is scheduled for May 26, 2027, at Stadion Frankfurt, the home of Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.

The stadium has a rich history of hosting major international football events, having staged matches at three FIFA World Cups. It also hosted five fixtures during UEFA EURO 2024.

Meanwhile, the UEFA Conference League final will take place at Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul on June 2, 2027.

Situated on the banks of the Bosphorus, the approximately 40,000-capacity stadium will host its third major UEFA event. It previously staged the UEFA Super Cup in 2019 and the 2026 UEFA Europa League final.

The selection of the three venues means the 2027 European club season will conclude with finals being held across three of Europe’s prominent football cities.
