Cole Palmer added Chelsea’s third as Xabi Alonso’s side established a commanding lead in the West London derby.
Fulham fought back with two goals, but Chelsea held on to secure all three points and give Alonso a winning start to his reign as manager.
Rogers, who joined Chelsea during the summer, was one of the standout performers on his debut, while Palmer also impressed with a goal and an assist.
